At Costello Family Dentistry, we are committed to providing dental services to those who can’t afford it. This is why we hold a special event called Smiles on Us — Free Day of Dentistry every year. We also host this great event at our sister company at Yazdani Family Dentistry in Kanata and in Kemptville.

Our Smiles on Us – Free day of dentistry will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Costello Family Dentistry in Carleton Place and Yazdani Family Dentistry in Kemptville and Kanata.

We recognize the tremendous need for emergency dental services in our community. We have all proper PPE, air filtration systems and screening protocols in place to ensure the safety of our patients as well as our team.

FREE DAY OF DENTISTRY

How it works

On our free day of dentistry, appointments are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. To get your appointment, come to our office the day of the event at 7:30 AM to reserve your appointment time for later in the day.

Patients are welcome to leave and return 30 minutes prior to their appointment times or they are welcome to wait in line.

There are various programs offered to the community to help children with dentistry, this is why we focus our Smiles on Us — Free Day of Dentistry event on adults. We will only be serving patients 18 years and older at all of our locations.

In order to receive treatment, you must be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on our free day of dentistry on October 18, 2025. The day was a huge success, and thanks to our sponsors and our volunteers, we were able to provide $8,632 of free dentistry in Carleton Place, $2,856 of free dentistry in Kanata, and $4,036 of free dentistry in Kemptville, for a grand total of $8,632!
