Yes! Our Carleton Place dental clinic is family-friendly. If you are coming in with your children for a teeth cleaning, we offer snacks to young ones while they wait. We are also experienced at providing quality dental services and easing the anxiety of even our youngest patients.
We recommend that, as soon as you see teeth, you bring your child in for a cleaning and to make sure their teeth are strong and healthy. That means that your child should have visited the dentist at least once by their first birthday!

We recommend a standard cleaning service and checkup every six months. If you are experiencing severe tooth pain or bleeding in your mouth, it may be necessary to schedule an emergency dentist appointment.

Yes! We provide a take home whitening kit. Patients must first complete an exam, X-rays and cleaning at regular fees (for new patients) in order to receive the teeth whitening kit. All patients must take care of any decay treatment first before we can offer the whitening kit to any patient, as teeth whitening can create more sensitivity for the patient should they not take care of this first.
You don’t have to go anywhere! At Costello Family Dentistry, we offer all kinds of tooth extractions including wisdom teeth removal. Inquire about booking a consultation with one of our wisdom teeth removal specialists when you contact us.
Yes! A topical fluoride treatment helps prevent cavities and strengthen tooth enamel while reducing tooth sensitivity, something that is especially important for adults with gum recession and a potential risk for tooth decay. It may not be necessary if your mouth is in good shape, but it provides many preventative benefits for the majority of adult mouths.
